About
Find Our Soul
Where's that spark that makes me last,
As we carry out our only task?
Are we merely this cruel experiment,
Brought forth of the primordial firmament?
Sowing seeds the angels grow,
Cast where the winds doth blow.
What I will never ever see,
That which made us truly be.
'Tis important then to enlighten our soul
And brighten the present of all we touch.
If we could only extend our reach
And touch the child we could not teach.
But how can I know what universal truths unfold
When all I do is truth be told
Just sit before this earthly scene
And watch the effing tv screen.
Find our soul, make our mark,
Find that next amazing quark.
But crazy as this all might sound,
We'll all eventually, come around.
