Birds and Wildlife (New 3/2020)
Most taken with my new Sony camera. The Flamingos and Ducks were taken at the Dallas Zoo. Most of the non-bird wildlife was taken at or near our ranch in Mason County, TX

They are mates for life - note the white feathers askew. We see the pair everyday.

So lucky to catch this magnificent bird. Their wingspan is 5-6 ft! Rare to see them inland in the spring migrating from the Texas coast likely to the far NW US. These two were spotted just downstream of the Stillhouse Hollow Dam (Central TX) on the Lampasas River where they were hunting for bass. This is near Belton, Tx.
